FieldScan — Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the FieldScan mobile app and web dashboard ("FieldScan", "the service"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

FieldScan is operated by Nevena Miljanovic, an individual developer based in Austria ("we", "us"). Contact: privacy@fieldscan.dev.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete Account); deletion follows a 30-day grace period before permanent removal, as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the service unlawfully; upload content you don't have the right to; attempt to breach security, access other tenants' data, or disrupt the service; reverse-engineer or abuse the API; or use the service to store unlawful, infringing, or harmful content. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the data and images you add to FieldScan ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to provide the service to you and your workspace. You are responsible for Your Content and for having the rights to it.

5. Plans, trials, and billing

FieldScan offers Free and paid tiers. During the current launch period, paid tiers may be provided as a free trial ("Early Access") with no charge, and billing is not yet active. When paid billing becomes available, pricing, billing terms, and any required payment method will be presented before you are charged, and continued use of paid features may require a paid subscription. Trials and promotional access may be time-limited and are provided at our discretion.

6. Service availability

We aim to keep the service available but provide it "as is" and "as available." We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features. We are not liable for data you fail to back up; export tools are provided where available.

7. Third-party services

The service relies on third-party providers (including hosting/backend and push-notification delivery). Their availability may affect the service. Your use may also be subject to the app store terms of Apple and Google.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind, and our aggregate liability arising from or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for violations of these Terms or as required by law.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; we'll revise the "Last updated" date and notify you of material changes in-app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Austria, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
